In Syria, we are concentrating our efforts on supporting an orphanage that has a very specific focus: helping orphans become self-sufficient within a set time frame of 3 years. Our goal is to not only provide these children with short-term support, but to give them the tools and skills to build their own future. The orphanage we serve serves as a refuge for children who have lost their families due to conflict and tragedy. Here we not only offer a safe home, but also education, psychological support and vital care. But our approach goes beyond that: we work to teach these children lifelong skills and pave the way for them to become independent and lead an independent life. We believe that true change lies not only in providing momentary help, but also in creating long-term solutions.
